Anyone read these texts or the like? I was at B&N the other day picking up some automotive literature and noticed them. From the glance they looked pretty simple and beginner. Wondering what yall thought.

I bought the Car Stereo Cookbook about 10 years ago from Crutchfield. It was a very good book for it time. It seems as though to rise of the internet and the availability of knowledge available makes these books less valuable than they were.

I saw the Cookbook at Borders a couple weeks ago. I thought about getting it but once I started skimming through it, I noticed its a lot of stuff I already know or either a bunch of stuff you can just find out with a quick search on the internet. However it may be worth it.

yeah i read the cookbook as well.. i think the 2004 or 1005 edition? anyways yeah it was pretty elementary.. though there were a few little things i picked up here and there in the middle of the chapters. and the stuff about sat. radio and mobile video i still dont know, and i dont think i read even in the cookbook cause for some rreason its just boring to me.

but tis worth a read, it doesnt take long.. not worth the liek 30.00 retail though
