i am thinking about running a set of each in the truck, the 6.5's in the rear, or the 6.5's in some kick pods. I was really thinking about making some kick pods anyway.

SO, anyone got any imput on how they sound, freq. response, what kinda power they like etc. etc.?

I dont have any exp with those, but im currently running Rockford Power 6.5 comps in my car. They are very nice speakers, but love power.

RMS is 100w, but with that power, they were ok. I doubled it and they really came alive.

Passive, off a Orion 4002 (100w x 2 at 4ohm) for the moment until I can get some more power. I tried bridging my amp to 400w mono to see how (1) set would do off more power and I was shocked, the output difference was night and day. I also have the Power Coaxils and they get very loud off the Orion (75w RMS).

Was planning on using a Sundown 100.4 and going active, but since I did that yestereday, I think im going to run it bridged (325 x 2 at 4ohm).

If you like the sound of poopy go for it. Ive yet to hear rf speakers that sound good.

preferrably under 250$.....per set....need 2.....would like them to be 6x9 for the front doors, and 6.5's for the rear, or run coaxes in the rear and a set of two ways or three ways in the front.......will have to build some kicks if i go with a 3 way up front.

I am shopping around this time......i really need something LOUD, so it doesn't get drowned out like my last comps did. I have been looking toward these the CDT's, and maybe trying a set of the Pierce audio products comps.......they look nice to me, may be worth a shot.

i have installed and purchased RF over the last 25 years

i would only buy their power series mono amps

what is you budget on mids and highs

what amp will be pushing them

budget max is 500$ front and rear

amp is to be determined as well..... i may put my old school soundstream reference on them....not sure.

plan to push them with at leats 75rms..... thinking of the alpine pdx amps also.
