I dont really know for sure what active is. I have heard of going active with a four channel? In which case no I can not.

If you are looking for cheap comps look at Optis or the Cresendos.

The 9855 can be ran used to go active but being you only have a 2 channel not much you can do other then a comp set..

I might actually get the cresendos, 100 watts a side and look pretty decent for $100. That would leave me room to upgrade my 2-channel eventually. Im really just looking for something around $100 and eventually will put around 75 watts per side. I will most likely be getting money for Christmas so that's what I wanted to buy.

once you hit great sq, its hard to want to run anything but that.
