Anyone on here play/played football?

defensive end and middle linebacker 6'2" 240lbs at the time.....built like a tank then i blew my knee out....havent been able to play for more than 20 mins w/out causing my knee to have very severe pains

hurt my knee in the off season the year before we won state 2 yrs in a row.....wish i could have played and got my rings

Played from 4th grade through HS. Had scholarship offers from Midwestern St Univ. and Abilene Christian University. Yes, they are sucky schools. I visited both campuses and decided to call it quits. Didn't really want to walk on to a D-1 and put in the effort if school wasnt being paid for.

I'm in my sophmore year in HS, and I am a tight-end/defensive end.

I'm 6'1 196. Most likely I will be starting both ways on JV, and might get some PT on varsity. There are juniors and seniors in front of me in both positions.

I would like to bring this thread back from the dead, because it is a special occasion..

Our team has gone 3-0 this yea, thats the best start since '93

Our next game is us (#8 in the state, first in our district) and Bixby (#9 in the state, second in our district)

Im excited

Middle Linebacker/Wing Back

5'11" - 180

Started my sophomore year, and led in tackles every year. All conference, All Area, All State Special mention.

Had a few smaller football schools looking at me.. Yale, Holy Cross, and a couple small schools around me..

Tore my knee to shit second game of the season, **** remember like it was yesterday...

In a game and a half, I had 38 tackles, and 220 yards rushing on 16 carries... Then got cheap shot, that pretty much took me out of sports.. Rehabed, and came back to basketball in 2.5 months.

Basketball was my sport.. All everything(conference, state, area, a few newspaper teams) my junior year. Played at state my sophomore year... Played 6 games my senior season due to my knee injury, also missed out on about 10 sports scholarships in basketball...

All conference 1st team last year....second team year before

Played freshmen year, never got any bigger than 5' 8 130.

FS, WR, and kick returner - ran a 4.39 40 time.

We had some big boys on our team, 2 d1 offensive linemen, 1 for ucf and another for fsu. Both for were about 6'7-6'9 and 300lbs, and had a corner whos at pitt.
