I was just going to create some basic ones, using Microsoft Office Publisher 2007. What would I need to buy, when I print them out?

unless you have really good gear, your associates that you hand them out to will know they are home made.

guess that would matter or not matter depending on what field you are in. I have thought about doing it myself to save a few bucks but dont want to take the chance of possibly seeming like a broke ***. Some of my colleagues and associates would apperciate it,, others may think it substandard.

Just go to vistaprint or acidflyers to get something professional, for $50 bucks you can get some pimp *** cards on nice stock, glossy and printed on both sides.. If you don't want to spend that much staples does really cheap black and white cards for about $20 for 1000 cards.
