anyone looking to buy a ps3

Now this 20 gig here pre owned

Will work with PS2 games. I think you would be better off just buying a new system or at least looking on ebay for one of these two then buying one of them pre owned. The 60 gig cost more then the brand new 80

The 40gb can't do PS1 or PS@ at all. The 20 and 60gb will play 90-95% of all Ps1 or PS2 games. When the 80gb came out, it had problems trying to play PS1 and PS2 gaems. That issue has beeen fixed. You have to download an update disk just like the xbox360 and load it to your PS3.

Also says it on sony style store as well. The new 80 gig is NOT backwards compatible with PS2 games what so ever. It can play PS1 games though
