i am asking if anyone knows where i can find a sub with certain specifications.

im searching for a 10" that has a mounting depth of 5" or less. preferebly a sub with no vent as the sub is going to be pushed right up against the back of the enclosure. i would like the sub to have a frequency response that hits down to 20Hz and handles around 270 watts rms which is what my amp is rated for.

any suggestions??

no vent is going to kill this request.

i dont think you'll be able to get a freq response at 20hz, if you need to ask what woofer you need for that.

not trying to be mean or anything.. but if you need to ask, you probably wont be able to do it without some paid, professional help.

Most subs, at least those worthy of being called subs, in a sealed enclosure factoring in cabin gain of the vehicle will play flat to below 20Hz. Pretty much all you need is a shallow mount 10" sub. If the mounting depth is 5" and you factor in the 3/4" for the thickness of the mounting baffle, you just created the polevent clearance right there.

i admit i am no expert when it comes to putting together a box and etc. i ask b/c those are the specifications of the box. i have 5" of mounting depth and i assumed that one would want a frequency response that low b/c the lower the better. i know that it can't be heard but it can be felt correct? i was told that there would obviously need to be space behind the vent which wouldn't be a problem but it is a downfiring sub that is going in the rear seat in my jeep and there is only about 2 to 3 inches of space from the floor so thats kinda a problem. i appreciate any advice but i remember hearing somewhere there is no such thing as a stupid question, only stupid answers.
