okay as most of you know im doing 4 hdc3 18's in a wall (yes i will be doing a build log (w/vids))

i know tune them at 38hz

but from what Ive seen before the car can make the tuning different so

if hdc3 18's must be tuned at 38-40hz and im in an 02' suburban - - -

should i alter the recommended tuning i listen to new rap (t pain and jeezy)

and oldschool like dj magik mike and nemisis a maggotron

im trying to find a happy medium im going into this build with my uncle whos and oldschool head and all he wants is bass!!! (me too)

but i hit up gala monk g-monk about his clamshell he had and he said he was tuned so low all he was doing was moving air thats something i dont want to do

i just want that shirt/seat moving bass where when you get out the truck it felt like you went on a roller coaster ride- - (like that bass where you feel the pressure and air but also hear the 808's dropping notes)

ive had similar to this with 4 cheap flea market subs some (12" db drives)

im just trying to do bigger and better this time before the summer

sop you guys help me out

all in all im just looking for a good tuning frequency for 4 18" hdc3 coppers flat walled qand im putting the wall right behind the second row seats (3rd row removed)
