I know that for all of them there is a waiting period before they can take them and it's accurate. So after you do it you might have to wait a week before she can take it.

Your other option is to go to a planned parenthood and for $100 she can take a "day after" pill and that is about 100% effective to make her not get prego...

she thinks it was weeks ago.. but the only time that we did it w/out her ring (birth control) and without a condom was after her period.

For about a week after the period, you are in the clear, because ovulation isn't until 2 weeks after the period. While sperm can last for 5-6 days in the vag, ruling out 1 week before ovulation, it would be INCREDIBLY rare that a sperm could survive 2 weeks.

Not to mention, all the other spermicide from condoms and the ring that she *did* put in.

She took out her ring a week late though, the week she should have had her period, so she is worried because she hasn't gotten her period.

The hormones and spermacides can last for a few days after she took it out.

Using the ring, pulling out, and not doing it near maximum ovulation, means pretty safe IMO.

But thanks for that CB. I did a fair amount of research and what you said goes right along with what I've found. This is definately not a morning after situation we're talking about.. this is something that would have been in the process several weeks ago, as we've been adequately protected.

I'm personally not worried even 1% (well.. maybe 1%) but I'd just like to get accurate tests so we can get this over with and she'll stop freaking out.

Why 2 or 3? If it has been weeks, then the hormone should be in her urine. Most wally world tests are a 2 pack anyhowz.
