Anyone know/seen this guy?

I went to my first "show" the other weekend. Nothing too spectacular, but there was a sundown 8 on a sundown 3500 in a crx that hit in the 50's, 2 DD 15"s that did well, and then this one guy. They were judging on the AC mic so I really wasn't very impressed, but this guy had the meter blank out. The owner of the shop we were at said that means he hit over 160db, but I am not so sure about that. It was loud nevertheless I was just curious if anyone knows this guy.

Not sure, but it was loud. I was hoping you guys would have seen him around. He is obviously sponsored and the guys I spoke with said he competed professionally.

Haven't seen it since the rebuild & new graphics but I'm pretty sure that's Tim Maynor's truck. Noobs won't know who that is but any old schoolers will recognize the name immediately. The red crx with the single sa-8 was Sean's car. He does 152s on the TL.

Neat. Thanks for the info. You get to many shows around in SC? There were not too many cars in the SPL competition worth talking about, but I was surprised to see a good amount of DD and Sundown

I go to as many as I can which is almost every one. That show was a backyard type event & not with any specific organization so it didn't interest me any.

yeah, its was slack, but a good taste for my first show. What other ones are around that would be more of a professional event?

Last weekend at The Gold Club in Spartanburg was the last decent event of the year around here. Things always die down in the winter time. There are some of the Koss Motor Sports car shows on the calendar but they're not much for stereo events. There's one this weekend at the Crazy Horse in Myrtle Beach and then one next weekend in Fort Mill, SC. Koss Motorsports -=- Home
