Anyone know of a good prefab box for an R?

So I'm helpin a friend of a friend get a little bump in his trunk and decided to go with a 12" type R cuz they're cheap and get loud apparently. I've never heard one in person but they seem to be all the rage on this forum lol.

Anyways the kid doesn't have that much money so I'm not gonna build a box for him. I'd like to get a ported prefab box, but don't know if there really are any of those that meet the needs of a 12" R.

So does anyone know of a good ported prefab box for one 12" type R? Any help would be great cuz I'm trying to get the small list of parts together for him by tonite. Thanks!

it's would be cheaper to make the box if you already have the tools... it's like $20 for a sheet of MDF and $5 for glue...

It's not worth my time though, the kid isn't paying me much and I'm trying to hook him up, but I still have other stuff I need to do to keep my business running. I just have no time right now basically, so if I could find a good prefab box that would make this job a whole lot easier.

if all youre doing him is a favor, for the price of that prefab box you can build him a nice sealed enclosure. it will sound clean and hit low. and it shouldnt take that much time at all. if he likes it will bring you more business. $$

Yeah u guys are right. I do have a table saw and wood and glue and all the tools ready to go in the shop. I'll hook him up. Might be getting a different sub then the R for around the same price. An Entasi 12" off someone in the classifieds on here, but either way it'll sound good and I want him to be amped. And his friends so they come to me to get a sub or 2 or 3 put in their cars as well!
