Anyone know of a good oscilloscope for testing output on an amp?

I was looking into buying an oscilloscope to test the gain on my amplifier, I want one that can handle at least a 2000 RMS amp, yet I don't want to spend a ton of money.

I am hearing these new little hand held Digital units work pretty good if you get the right one.

I myself use the standard, bench top type oscope. Mine is a Hameg dual trace, it think it is a 1005 model... i don't remember off hand, and i am at work right now ...
