You know, that guy from the famous youtube channel that usually works alone and for himself. This guys videos are incredable and the amount of information and knowledge he has surpasses a vast majority of people. How does someone of his age get the experience and knowledge he has just by tinkering with car audio by himself? College? Competition? Truely tinkering byhimself and reading online? What can i do to even be remotely as good as this guy at fabricating

have proper tools, have a lot of spare cash or good source of wood. Then go to town with car audio projects.

If you are serious about turning it into a career, you can go to Installer Institute | Car Audio Installation and Mobile Electronics Education

The tools part can be tricky sometimes. Most of my tools are geared for auto repair, not fabrication. Not to mention im terrified of getting into fabrication because i tried my hand at plastic welding, painting and whatnot with horrible results. And that was with countless hours of reading and prep work. Now we are talking about wood and thicker plastics that are harder to work with.

But i have aquired a ton of plywood and wood posts so i cut a few to make some surfaces to cut on. Make a table, get some sort of router tool setup on my table for more involved wood cutting and continue on with my skills. But **** is it a scary though. What about you guys?, anyone do their own fabricating?
