Sorry but you might want to call your credit card company on this purchase..

I've seen this scam many times with other vendors... no experience with this particular one but it seems like the same BS.

I'd watch how they will want to make you buy all kinds of unnecessary accessories at some outrageous prices.. and then when you decline to do so.. they will mysteriously send you an email saying that your item you ordered is out of stock and on back order (usually indefinately... since you didn't want to purchase anything else from them).

Thanks for the heads up man. I will watch out for sure but I think it is legit. My order was shipped today and I will let you guys know how is goes when I pick the package up from my parents house in two weeks. I will do a nice review of the Alpine EX-10 too!

Become informed about these types of scammers... it's a very common practice I have noticed coming from the NEW YORK and NEW JERSEY area..

Read more about the experience from other similar vendors who play the same bait and switch game with high end and high demand items to lure customers..

Ok I see that they have some weird things going on but I have gotten the UPS tracking number and my box has been shipped.

I had my friends 9886 in my car for like a week and the sq was amazing with the usb. I wish the 9887 had usb for that reason, but i'll live on cds I guess.

you want sq but use compressed files? you have that backwards. cd > mp3

1. not correct. it encodes it in the format you tell it to. you have to be smarter than the software you are trying to use, or have the ability to read.

2. opinions vary but i have found my iphone to be invaluable for work with certain apps.

3. see response to #1. you just have to know how to change the settings, knowledge you gain by reading.

i won't even address you inability to count here....

1. what does? my iphone supports all those types of media and aac is nt the same thing as wav

2. yes they are. tell me how it sounds when you plug headphones into it. that's like saying that a thumbdrive is cheaper than a computer, and since they both just store information why buy a computer?

3. never had a problem in the ~1.5 years of ownership of my iphone. maybe you should take better care of your equipment and show it some respect.

4. none here either.

5. given the timeline of changes in music format (vinyl, tape, cd, mp3) i feel pretty confident that by the time the next big change happens everyone will need to upgrade no matter what they own.

the ipod issue will never die. some people like them, some don't. i personally only bought one as it was part of my iphone, a tool i needed for work. making broad general statements that are untrue helps no one.

I spent all this money on my system and got good gear and plugged in my IPOD and was like huh......I even put alot of the music on myself directly from my own cd's, no limewire or anything like that. I care less that the 9887 lacks usb as I don't even use my ipod most of the time and cd's get thrown in 99% of the time.

There's always the option of encoding in Apple Lossless which sounds pretty much identical to CD.
