Anyone know if the 9887 is going to get replaced soon?

I just sold my 9883 and want to upgrade to the 9887 since I have a 15% off and free shipping from sonicelectronix coupon but I don't feel like spending that much money If they have a new elite single din coming out soon?

Anyone have any ideas about this?

im waiting untill alpine brings out a full featured audiophile deck with USB and WAV file support. that would be sweet.

so far its either 9886 with usb and bass/treble controls

or 9887 with NO usb and bass engine pro.

I had my friends 9886 in my car for like a week and the sq was amazing with the usb. I wish the 9887 had usb for that reason, but i'll live on cds I guess.

I think alpine has a usb module, do they not?

Would anyone take an eclpise over the 9887?
