Anyone know how to clean headlight covers?

best way...

wet sand the head lights with an all purpose cleaner. (2000g is fine nothing lower)

wipe clean

buff with a high compond.

buff with a sealer..

they will look like new....

I'm tellin ya...the DIY I posted above is the more thorough.
I have found some plastic lenses to be too soft of a plastic and even 2000grit will not remove the finite scratches, which look like hazing, which are caused by sanding....this is why I just use the plastx.

cause you dont know how to do it.

i need to write up a picture tutorial on this...

1.get some meguirs final inspection spray cleaner (smells like bubblegum)

2. get some 2000grit sand paper

3. spray the lense of the headlight and begin to sandpaper (like wetsanding paint)

4. keep doing it

5. get meguirs #85 diamond cut and a hi speed buffer

6. buff

7. keep buffing

i used to do this every day as the detail manager at a chevrolet dealership and charge people $50 per headlight. Its time consuming though, so be patient and dont rush it.
