anyone know any thing about the brand Lanzar??

I saw this amp, Lanzar OPTI1400D, here's the link http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=14078 to look at the specs. I have one alpine type R 12". the amp has everything I want, enough to power it, mono class d, mosfet power supply, remote bass control. i dont really know anything about the brand. I just need an amp that has all specs. im looking for. does anyone know about lanzar or other amps i can check out? thnx

well what ohm is the sub? D4, D2? this will help... also whats ur budget? lanzar isnt a bad brand it isnt the greatest either.

the lanzar opti line is a pretty decent line what is the price on it we might be able to find something better for the price

the sub is 4 ohm but i was gonna wire it at 2 ohm. the price for that lanzar was 289.99. i need something that will power 500W rms at 2 ohm. my budget is at least $300

well jbl 600.1, orion 600d ,autotek 590.1 or 590.2, directed audio 750d so on and so forth all will be under 250.00 and will push the power you need

Lanzar Opti is rock solid guys. Where have you been?

Etronics has the 1400D for $250 shipped.

Good amp, good price, but for a single type R?? Too much. Even for a dual 2 at 4 ohms it would be 700+ watts. It would be perfect for two dvc type r's at 1 ohm

If you want to talk smack on Vibe/Viberant/Heritage - ok, I won't stop you. It's still pretty solid equip for the cost, just over-rated on power.

Thats what I am saying the opti's are amazing, great amps, stay away from the vibes, I have heard of many problems with them, but you can't go wrong with the opti.

The optidrive amps are the real deal.

I got a 2000d, and blew two l5 15" in less than an hour.

1600rms is what it was rated at, and 1600rms is def. what it delivered. Loudest 15-20 minutes of bass i've EVER heard.

The opti's are the only lanzar's i'd recommend, but they're actually good amps! I swear on it!

I've owned the Opti1400D and for my lucky price of $210 brand spanking new, i swear there is no better amp with that kind of power for around that price (someone try to prove me wrong), super solid amp!!!

i'd ride the opti amps anyday...

just for being cheap, i'd like to try one of those acclaimed VIBE1200D's and see if they are really actually worth it...

if you would have put in OPTI1400D on the search, i'm sure you would have plenty of articles about them...

again, opti's are the only good amp line that lanzar makes. here are pics for comparasion:

lanzar vibe 1200d: 1200x1 @ 1 ohm

vs.

lanzar opti 2000d (newer silver NOT grey opti's) 1600x1 @ 1 ohm

vs.

lanzar vibe 251 650x2 @ 2 ohms

vs.

lanzar opti 4000d 4000x1 @ 1 ohm

really not a fair comparison, wattage wise, but you get the picture quality wise...
