ive got a memphis PRD1000.1, 1000 watt 1 ohm stable mono amp, and it says that at 1 ohm the rms power is 1000 watts, and at 4 ohms, the rms power is 300 watts. my first question may sound kindly dumb, but i want to be sure. If I have one single 4 ohm voice coil 300 watt sub on this amp, it will be a 4 ohm load, and it will give me 300 watts from the amp, give or take some, with the gain set correctly, right? my second question is im getting 2 more subs, so all three will be a 1.34 ohm load on the amp, and then i will have 900 watts rms in my subs. well, im taking for granted that since a 2 ohm load on the amp is 600 watts rms, and 1 ohm is 1000 watts, that a 1.34 load will give me 867 watts aprox. from the amp. im also gonna take for granted that this memphis is a bit underrated, and will proly be about 900 watts, which would be pretty close to the wattage of my subs, am i correct in this assumtion?
