BTW: Back in about 1991, I helped design the first version of the alternators these guys make:

It's not cheap... but if you want the time-tested ultimate solution, this is is, IMHO.

I currently don't have any commercial connections with these guys, BTW... but I do still believe them to be first-rate people. The products are high-end, and look AND work like high-end products should...
