Anyone know about Empire amps??

I'm curious if these are any good.. Empire EMC D1500 monoblock.

anyone used these? R they a cheater amp?

Also looking to buy cheater amp 1000-1500 watts @ 1 ohm. around $250 maybe a bit more.
