well.. yes

some cars (hondas, some of the newer model domestics) are very involved ingetting to the alternator, so a specialty shop may be in your best interests, instead of a general mechanic/audio shop

It could.. I know on chargers/300's and magnums, the alts are in a retarded place on the engine. Compared to my marauder it took 15 mins to do..

I think the best place for it is in your garage. That way you know it's done right. Get some 0/1 wire, I used welding leads, some 0/1 ring/spade terminals and a bench vise. and read the offical big 3 thread on here for further questions.

It is a 07 RDX and I know for a fact that the alt. is pretty hard to reach

Where is the alt located on the engine. Some shops will do it..Ask a local one around you..

it's right in between the engine and the radiator. I have to take out the radiator to get to it.
