Hooked up my system, and when my deck powers up my blue light on my amp flickers then goes out. I also hear my engine running through my speakers, all kinds of feedback! So, when I unplugg the RCA cables i found out that i no longer here my engine through my car speakers, so i thought that went bad because that is quite common...a new rca cable did not do the trick. Any suggestoins as to why my amp flickers its blue light then stops ?

Yea it can, depending on whether you got a sturdy ground or not. Something can be loose, check the connections. The bad ground coulda poped your fuse so check that too. Check the remote wire. make sure the metal from the wires arnt touching anything else metal. Check the amp fuses, It can be alota things, but as far as the engine sound, check that link and that would help you.

sothrowd, u no u just gave him a link to fix a noisy pioneer cd player.

that would have nothing todo with the ground of his amp.

do u have everything wired right? Remote Power Ground, and if u do check for any shorts.
