Yeah I remember those days...$120 for a noise ordinance violation for cranking my stock Bose system. I fought it by saying that "the factory system is amplified, but is limited to 86db according to the manufacturer. The police officer never showed me a meter saying that I was in excess of 86db." I got off on that one.

Our ordinance is 95db or above after 7:00pm.

Same here. Which is gay considering a noise violation which will not hurt anybody costs more than a ticket for not wearing a seat belt which could kill you and everyone in the car as well.

I dont understand why people with the real loud exhausts dont get tickets around here. IMO 25 feet outside of the vehicle is bull shit. Bass travels. Even at low volumes. My first ticket was a cheap shot IMO. I was at the Spring Break Nationals less than 2 blocks from the show, and got a ticket.
