anyone Jb weld ring terminals?

Havent tried JB Weld, but I soldered all of my 1/0 wire to the ring terminals..no shitty crimp jobs here..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I hated that crap....crimp some wire...pound for a few days only to see your **** *** crimp job come un-done....

Solder FTMFW..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

Nope, its an insulator
Hmmm,

So if thats true, then you may gain strength over solder by using jb weld, but you will lose the added bonus of adding conductive surface area that solder gives you.

I'd rather go with solder, It goes on 1/0awg easy enough for me when using a small torch.

thats why im wondering, i dont think it matters though unless its encapsulating the wire in the terminal, which is not likely
It does matter. If the JB Weld is not conductive, it would get inbetween a lot of the threads and the ring terminal and increase resistance.
