I feel like, properly done, dumping trash on someone else's lawn is an artform. I guess we are both artists, we just work in different mediums.

Well, you wont catch me. Just as is the case with most graffitti "artists," I am sneaky about it. I like it, so I don't care what you as the owner of the property thinks. For some reason I think I am entitled.

I still believe on the local level that governments generally operate as they should. I wrote several letters to my local country representative, started to collect some signatures, and I think they are going to build a bridge on the opposite side of the subdivision which will take about 5 minutes off my commute, as well as save 5 minutes off the police's commute to possibly actually do good.

Maybe I should be more cynical, but I do really believe that local governments in quickly explanding areas are far more responsive to the needs of the people vs. state/federal governments.

As someone who has had many occassions to see how local governmental agencies actually work, I think you are right -- you should be much more cynical. You see enough of it and you will certainly lose any naive belief that they are either competent or fair.

Graffiti doesnt bother me when done properly. Its the kids who just scribble on walls that piss me off. I think i can tag better than most of the idiots here and ive never done it before.
