Why did you buy there? I am in Boston and have a condo in FL I rent out.. being a long distance landlord SUCKS!

The only good thing is writing on trips to FL as a business expense, so if there is anything to do in Youngstown Ohio it may not be that bad.

done plenty of times, i have a shit load of props in PA. Fix'em and rent them, then have a management company run it. I was asking for OH because it's my first out there.

I usually just look at pictures and determine if it's worth buying and repair. Real Estate is still something that's worth investing even thought the market is horrible. There is a program in TV, I can't recall the name of the show but these guys buy houses they never been too, fix and sell but on a higher end level. Im happy with my small operation.

dieing city just like dayton where I live. but recently I was watching the news on how people from out of town were buying houses in the dayton area through auction and getting homes for 3500. I guess I missed the newsletter on that one

It's not that bad (I'm like 20min away).

I wouldn't buy property there though...
