Do it, you will be taken care of. The lack of bonus (if they still dont give one) is made up for by the care they give you. AF seemed to be the best treated of the services. By far. If I could do it all over, thats what I would do. Except you dont get to play with guns as much.

Also look into coast guard.

i also heard that the AF is the least physically demanding of all the armed forces so that kinda got my attention too...lol

dont join the navy.

join the airforce. new planes. new parts. new tools. all together better living conditions.

well, somone in my bootcamp devision for the navy was 32. so i know age is not incredibly important.

its mostly got to do with health. if you are an otherwise healthy person and can run a 1.5 mile in 10~15 minutes and do 50 pusuhps\crunches - you can get through bootcamp.
