Isn't there like an option for "fastest way" or "shortest way"? It's something like that. I had a Garmin before, it was a long time ago.

yea there is, but Everytime I go My way ( the faster way ) it keeps trying to re route me back to the main way it went.. Its not a huge deal I guess, since it seems to like main roads, But I just want to make sure its accurate at least, cuz my mom isnt all to great with directions in larger cities..

I tried to mess with the settings also

I think it sticks to the main roads to make it easier to navigate a new area

ever heard of a manual? they work wonders, or worst case you could call garmin. Its a shame google is going to kill their sales with their free turn by turn cell application

you mean the 4 page manual that comes with it?? yea very informative.. Its a GPS dude its not rocket science, but it IS hard to try and re route a gps to use YOUR directions.. It must not like that Im better with directions than it is
