Anyone try it out yet? The new V4's look a lot more beefier than the previous versions. How does it compare to the older versions. I know it's not as loud as idmax but can it still get loud?

Thinking 3 10's sealed 1 cu ft each or 2 12's sealed 1.6 cu each. How do u think it'll sound? Looking to reproduce bass as accurately as possible with least possible distortion. Doesn't have to be super loud but loud enough to hear from the trunk to the front seat. Want to blend with my active front stage

I currently have a 12" Fi Q in a 2.5 cu ft ported box.. Thinking about selling it.. You think it's a good move?

@Dmac1991; Well the one I have right now, would like to sell it as one unit since it's all hooked up and stuff.. But I still have 2 Fi Q's 12"s laying around practically brand new if you're interested. Here's the link to it. http://www.caraudio.com/forums/subw...q-sell-thon-everything-brand-new-12-15-a.html

The one I have in my trunk is a custom made box made by Dave the Box guy, mahogany stain and poly, has 2 12" passive radiator holes with Creative Sound Solutions passives already in them. They have weights so you can adjust the tuning frequency to practically anything.

i'd suggest 2 or 4... I hate the number 3
I only have a mono amp.. I don't think I can fit 4 subs anyway. 3 subs dual 2 ohms would make it 1.33 ohms so I can still take advantage of the amp potential.. So let's say 2 12" IDQ's running at 750W 1.8 cu ft each.. Would it be an upgrade or downgrade from what I have? I'm only thinking 3 10's because it should be louder than 2 12's no?

The 4 and 3 sound the exact same. Just "stronger" material in the 4, not even worth mentioning unless you're beating the idq to death, and if you are I don't think idq is what you should be going with. No audible differences.

There's a few in New Orleans that run those. I think they are the same as the dB Drive A7 series.
