anyone heard of a old car audio company called Virtual Technologies?

Back in the late 90s they were responsible for the CyberGlove. IIRC they didn't have anything to do with car audio.

VT boxes were insane heard a few of the subs wish i bought some when they were around but they were single 3ohm or 6ohm subs if i remember right
