anyone heard of speed wire so u wire 4 channel amp to deck instead???

i dont want my first install tho limiting my sound quality i won't give up even if it takes a week a speaker i will do it if its that much better, with my amp rms per channel what will i loose by using speedwire
not the way to look at things. if you think that 18 gauge speaker wire will hinder sound quality over 16 gauge speaker wire at 75 watts RMS you need to start over. do you really think that you're going to listen to music in your car a full tilt all day every day? i've had MB Quart QSDs with ~200 watts RMS from an Autotek SX4160 for over 6 years and never had any issues from the stock speaker wires. plus if you really think you can hear the difference between 18 gauge speaker wire on 75 watts and 16 gauge speaker wire on 75 watts, you need to go to the doctor and get your head checked b/c that's impossible.

id use the speed wire if u were around me id give u what i have from my last car i think its 17ft maybe a few feet shorter. i like speed wire but for me since im running active i need two wires for each front door and two wires to each rear door for rear fill i need the flexibility of running wire in different directions. u can just tap the wire to the adapter plug that you buy to put the radio in with , cap the radio side and run everything through the speed wire. ive done this many times with upwards to 350w a channel from a rockford t1000-4ad and never had problems but i personally like to run separate wires
