thanks... I started it... he said he saw a tv show about a british car...which both those are..so what was wrong with that.

a saleen S7 can drive upside down given the right condition.s

I really dont know why supercar companies think its a penis contest on who can go the fastest...There is hardly a track (real track...with turns) that has a straight long enough and wide enough for a driver to feel comfertable going that fast.

Awsome acceleration + good suspension to carry speed through corners is all you need to win...if you can top out around 200mph most of the time you have more than enoguh head room.

F1, sure, You go through tires 5 times faster than underwear (literally)...

streetable supercars, not needed.

IMHO.

I know it has a sequential gear box and has like 7 or 8 gears so I think it would. Same thing with that bike with the viper engine they say at top speed no human would be strong enough to hold due to the drag on the drivers body.

True, but when something produces as much down force as is needed to do that you also create a lot of drag and its hard to achieve a very high top speed...
read up on F1 cars mang.

They can **** a sewer acess plates right out of the ground. They have to be tack welded shut for street races.

They also dance in mid 200mph range often.

There is no drag if you are inside a cockpit.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

I doubt it will do 270mph. I mean do you have any idea what aerodynamics are like going that fast?!?! Just keeping the car on the road is a chore over 200...
How do you know it'd be a chore over 200? I've only driven up to 130 and it seemed pefectly fine with a Saab, but is 200MPH some magic number that makes the car start to handle badly? I bet those european engineers wouldn't make a car thats not drivable at its top speed. Of course it would be more difficult to manage than at low speeds but thats a given.

I did 140(top speed) in my Lightning and I have to say handeling was a little iffy but this is in a reg cab f-150 with no handling in mind for design.

200 is in no way a magical number but its sort of a bench mark with top speed figures. The bugatii Veyron cant do its 257mph top speed in normal mode. You have to switch the car over to the top speed mode where it lowers the car and stiffens the suspension to give the car better maners at high speeds.

What im trying to say is that there is more to top speed than

-3million hp

-light weight

-and 4 wheels

its quite a bit more involved...
