That sucks they broke your stuff. Did they pay for it? That thing looks kind of strange but cool also. What benefits are there to having 2 of those frame parts?

The only upgrade I am going to do is an extra battery that I bought on Ebay. A kinetik, and I have an Optima Red one under the hood.

The guy with the elevation amps said I could use the amp but to run it that low of ohm .5 that i would have to do serious upgrades to my charging system. He then tried to sell me 2 of them one for each coil. Will that work or would it be too much. The Que website says 1000 watts.

The elevation will be fine if you have over 100 amp alt and a dedicated battery for it.

It is the same board as the RD 1750 and the SAZ-1500D, just minor differences. Buy it and run it .5 ohms.

If you have any kind of decent charging system, you should be fine. Sundown used to warranty that amp down to .5 ohm loads, so it wont hurt the amp. But if you get big voltage drops, you might want to re-wire until you can get an HO alt.

Otherwise, that IA 20.1 you were talking about will provide more than enough power for that sub.

Sub you bought is legit. It is a D1.

You can only wire it to .5 or 2.

EA amp would work with decent elecrical at .5

If you ran it at 2, you would probably only be giving the sub 1k-1200 or so watts and that would not make you happy.

My suggestion is to find and amp that puts out 2k@2 so as to not strain your electrical too much.

and buy that wire, son.

bought the '07 ZX1500 today at a local shop. I think they robbed me but I wanted the warranty and local dealer type thing. $725 sound like I overpaid? Oh yeah, bought the wire too from the guy. It says 1/0 Kicker hypoflex. Anyone know about box building?
