they wanted $400 to nuild me a box for the 18 but he said to make a sealed one would sound better. He said the 18 will blow within a few weeks and then I wouldn't have a speaker to use in the box because no-one (except for Kicker I guess since he tried selling me a Kicker Solo 18) makes 18s anymore. No good companies anyways he said.

where do you live, what shop did you go to and who did you speak to?, because I have a very heavy industrial monkey wrench here that would love to meet a new face

another thing, I asked him if the Kicker Zx1500 would be too much for the Audioque since the site says 1000 watts for the 18. He said I wouldn't be surpised if it only handles HALF that and that he'd probably be back in his shop soon looking for a better brand. what a ***!

**** dude you were smart enough to find this site. you should of been able to ask or see that that was allot for that amp. but i mean its to late to talk shit now. you live and you learn. i bought my whole first system from best buy and circuit city so i don't have much room to talk, but am trying to learn and find the good deals online and craigslist.

Not to be an ***, but try and eghey that amp or sell it locally to see if you can find another dumbass! So then you can get your money back and get something better than that amp, or something that is a lot cheaper and just as good for the power you need. I honestly feel bad for you, but I guess we have all been there before. And to think I got pissed at 500 bucks for an install when my back was bad for 2 years straight and couldn't do shit! Thank god I can manage to get around my car now.

Also I don't understand, how you go from asking questions about buying an amp and asking about the Kicker and we all said it is a good amp, but should have came back and asked us about his asking price before you bought on impulse.

You overpaid by a lot! And local shops wonder why they are losing business! Then again, when they are marking up their prices that high and find buyers like this, then maybe not, lol!

we have a shop like that here in arkansas called auto audio. shiz is marked way up. ross glover is the owner and anything other than what he sells is junk in his opinion. if another shop sells the same brand but cheaper he tells you it must be a refurb or they aren't a actual dealer for that brand. he and his shop are a douche
