Anyone have info on Elemental Designs HT subwoofers?

or the A5-350 which is a 15" setup. The 350 is probably to large for my space but if you have info I would like to hear how they compare to Velodyne, SVS and HSU subs.

That 350 even has free shipping right now. The SVS subs and the like are pretty pricey and this one has a very thick enlosure that weighs 100-146 lbs. depending on what you get. In this same price range you have Parts Express Dayton kit with a 1000W amp and a 15. Just wonder if the eD 15 or any 15 for that matter will play good in HT for movies. The review on Parts Express says it is kind of boomy so I was thinking of putting my own 12" setup together with a better sub.

My sealed Mach 5 MAW 15" is pretty kickass for movies.

Personally, I wouldn't care how nice the ED woofers are, I would never buy one from them. Something about supporting crappy business practices doesn't sit right with me.

Awww ****, guess I just need to get off my *** and build a new box for my woofers then...

I built a temporary sealed box for one of them a month ago, and I have a second one sitting in my closet that hasen't seen power. Time to get both up and running.

I dont like ed either, over at the avs forum theirs a bunch of ed fanboys and same with JL fanboys...

Me I would rather own an fi q that is modified for ht then ANYTHING else.....

1 15" fi q or even an 18" with an ep 2500 and your own custom built box will outperform the ed sub.
