anyone have experience with these specific speakers (hertz & infiniti models)

... which of the 2 are recommended, & also if i can afford hertz Hcx 165's, will i notice a substantial step up in sound quality or not really (either speakers being pushed by 80 watts rms channel jbl gto)?

Yes to the HCX being worth the extra money. they are my recommendation.

i don't like either the Kappa or the ECX.
