Well I wasn't sure which batt you were referring too, since I linked more than one. As far as two of those not doing so well with your last setup, it just seems like you didn't have enough reserve power. Having an extra g31 batt per 1500 watts is the general rule of thumb I use....you had less than half that. That could have been the issues, since a 200amp alt isn't going to keep up with 3500 watts very well, especially since it's only making about half the amperage at idle.

they look like the batteries i use in Emergany lights. and I have to replace them like every 2 years due to going dead. and thats with a .5 amp trickle charge on em 24/7. I would just get a batcap. Those were not meant to discharge and recharge as in car set ups, but rather a slow discharge and slow recharge as in emergancy lights and exit signs.
