I'm thinking about using a handful of these for my next build. I really like the fact that you can use bolts for the posts...makes buss bars really easy. So does anyone have experience with these batteries?

looks alot like kenetik 600 also

the amp / hour rating is verry close also.

wonder if it acts more like a yellow top - giving off electricity slower

than a kenetik would tho......

I'll either be getting 10 of the smaller ones, or 6 of the larger ones(cost efficient option)...or just get 3 more Batcap 2000's so I'll have one for each saz1500.

I'm not sure. The Batcap 2000 is around 50ah though. I has a little less reserve than most of ther batts with the same cranking amps, but it has a really quick discharge rate, which will keep voltage up better than most other batts.

If the smaller one I posted is the same as a Batcap 800, I might get 10 of them, 5 for each pair of sundown 1500's.

I was debating on getting the bigger one and throwing my blue top under the hood.

For the price they look good. And If they have no memory as stated in the specification then I hope they can take the abuse of being discharged and recharged.
You think they can have a nice long life if you beat on them and have a alt charging at all times? Say a 300amp alt.

I have no idea how the "no memory" aspect works as far as being able to be discharged to around 12V and still being able to hold a charge around 12.8-13V. Can anyone shed light onto this "no memory" terminology and how it affects batts in car audio applications? The only thing I could find about it was that if you overcharge the batt it changes the crystaline structure of the batt, making it discharge at lower voltages...or something along those lines, it was kind of confusing.

I ran one of these, which looks similar, in my setup with a 200amp alt powering an aq2200. Always stayed in the high 13's even at idle:

The posts on these **** though...hard to get 1/0 lugs on em

I have 2 of those exact batteries.. Bought em from the same place.

Put it this way... I have an MX3000.1 sub amp, and an alpine F545 4ch. amp w/ big 3 done, Optima Bluetop up front, and upgraded 200A Alt, and 2 of those batteries in the back... at 2 ohms i have no dimming, but at 1 ohm I get some dimming...not horrible, but not great either...so I dunno if those batteries jsut arent that good, or if I don't have a big enough one up front...?? i'm not to convinced though
