Anyone have direct experince with jbl gti mkii???

Hello everyone, Just picked up a pair of JBL GTI MKII'S and the specs say to build a 1 cubic feet box. I want to know if the sub woofer will have enough space to hit the bottom octaves. Its going to be fully sealed. The other question is whether I should use Polly fill or not. I have a box built to 2.70 cubic feet which will be 1.20 of so after sub displacement per woofer. Will the extra space help me in the bottom end or should I add some braces to equal exactly 1.0 cubic feet after woofer displacement.?? Please answer if you e had experience with this sub in particular. Thanks in advance!
