Anyone have any problems of cds not playing in real cold weather

I have a pioneer Avic-N3 and the last week or so its been freezing cold outside like -9 degrees all day.. and when i first turn on my car it either says No DISC or bad DISC and i have to take the cd out and wait a couple minutes for my car to warm up so they will play

any ideas on if its the cold weather or not?

Probably is if it will work after the car is warmed up. My older eclipse h/u played cds like Alvin and the Chimpmunks if it was really cold out.

Yeah -9 might do that. Ive heard of i pods acting up in - temps also. Ive only seen -1 this winter in N.H. and so far no problems with my alpine 7856 or i pod cause of the cold.

yeah just let it warm up first... in NY you have to wait at least 10 minutes before a CD will work... especially this past week
