actually I bought an antenna adapter for my dad's jetta, and the reception was good but he likes this main AM station over here that should be clear too. anyways I went down to the shop where I bought the adapter from and they said they now have the amplified version, and I was skeptical so they put it in for me and that station came in clear. they were asking $20 for it but said $10 if I traded in my old one, I was pissed they wouldn't go lower and found it on car domain for $10 and free shipping so I just ordered it

well i think this is a little different than an antenna adapter for an amplified antenna. this is a whole antenna replacement hide away unit. the sell for like $50, i can get them from work real cheap. my boss said the reception is no beter than stock, so thats what im wondering.

ohh sorry about that, thought it was the same thing at first
