and thepiratebay.se for everything else.

TPB has a ton of viruses.

Demonoid was at least decent for that. They got shut down by the Ukrainians. Supposedly the feds seized all the servers at the end of July, hence why there has been nothing in Aug happening.

If you are cool w/ a monthly charge, iMesh is about the best you can do on music. Has nearly everything (akin to the old napster days) for like $9/mo. Just use a WMAP>MP3 converter and you can have full rights to the music.

No difference, you just have to know what to look for. The same files could be found on both sites.

justin.tv works well for me to stream tv shows, idk about music though, maybe look into joining a newsbin

Waffles is by far the best private music site, but that's all they have(along with some e-books). No, I don't have an invite. I don't know anyone who does.

IPT is pretty good for everything else. Again, no invite.

I have an IPT invite. I also have Acid Lounge, BitGamer, and MMATracker. Im a member at Waffles and What.CD, but dont have any invites to either.

For music try PreToMe.

Absolutely not. Its useless. Anyone who wants to find you can through your ISP. Blocking IP's through PeerBlock only blocks legitimate seeders and slows down your speed. Who says the IP's PB blocks people that are trying to track you? There is a great article on Demonoid on this, but dont have access to it right now.
