Anyone from the Gulfcoast?

Sorry about any harsh words i might have said but i love where i live at and alot of other people up north just dont realize how many of their things come from that little river that runs that way(Mississippi River).

And as someone said before should we just shut down hollywood because of the earthquakes?.

We live where we live and should be proud of it,if you dont like it move but dont tell anyone else where to go or live.

Finally got electricity last night. Air conditioning feels goooood. Finally got internet service this morning. I guess everyone else around here survived ok. I had a couple small trees that blew down and tons of limbs to pick up. Its also nice to just drive into a gas station without a wait and fill up. Up until yesterday, if I wanted gas I would have to wait in line for about a hour.

Thank god the last couple of days here were below 90 degrees, so waiting in line made it a little more tolerable. Anyway everything ok here for now but it looks like another hurricane is on its way. Hurricane Ike is going to enter the gulf in the next couple of days so everyone on the coast get ready. Not wishing it on anyone else but I've had my fun for the last week so let someone else have a turn. Good luck to everybody.
