Central Region Anyone from Michigan on here ever get together??

IA,IL,IN,KS,MI,MO,MN,NE,OH,OK,TX,WI
Just got a msg from SoloGlowCRX. He doesn't think he'll be able to make it to the show due to some family stuff. If anyone else knows of a shop that'd like to help out at a charity event and get some advertising out of it have them contact me. I'd still really like to get someone out at the show with an SPL meter.

i'm confused, where is this shindig at? and i'm only rocking coaxils.
The original plan was to have SoloGlowCRX bring his meter to the show. Now I'm not sure if that's happening. Anyone that has a vehicle they'd like to show off is more than welcome to bring their ride to the show. I'd love to see some nice rides with monster systems in the show! Even if we don't get a meter there I think I've convinced the guys in the club to inculde an I.C.E. trophy.

Oh, and the grounds are big enough that members could have a meet there with no prob. There's plenty of parking for people showing their rides and spectators.

Come on guys, show us what you got! We have classes for vehicles that are mild to wild and it benefits the American Cancer Society!

DEI has donated a Precision Power A600/4 to our auction.

Street Legal Customs has donated a remote car starter + installation!

Bring your cash or checkbook so you can bid!! Bidding starts at... $1 !!!!

Show details are here: www.OaktownTrucks.com

Maybe have your dad drive the El Camino and you drive yours. He can enter the El Camino in the show and you can park yours with the CarAudio members that aren't in the show.

Like I said, there's room for show cars and daily drivers. People can either enter their ride in the show ($15 early reg, $20 day of show) or just come and be a spectator for free. Anyone can bid on auction items as long as you're there when the auction closes (probably around 4pm) and have cash or check to pay for the item if you win.

If a lot of you don't have a vehicle that's in show shape you're more than welcome to hold a CarAudio.com members meet at one of the other parking lots around the show. We'll have tons of cool rides to check out, the auction going on, food and pop available, and some cool games going on. Hope to see you all there.

If anyone would like to make a cash donation to the American Cancer Society we'll have a donation box at the show. Every dollar helps!

There's a chance I'll make it to this. I can't seem to sell mt Mag15, so I might have to buy an amp and hook it up again. Keep updated on if the meter is going to show. Its a whole month away still, ya know, and that may entice me, but I might show anyway, my inlaws live pretty close to thur.

Cool man. Hope to see a lot of you there. If you guys know people with rides they'd like to show tell them about the show. It's a great bunch of people to hang with and it's for a great cause!

We've now added a I.C.E. trophy to the list! If you have a monster system or more TV's than a sports bar be sure to enter and show us what you have! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Thanks to Anthony at Second Skin Audiofor the latest addition to our auction! SSA has donated 4 packs of Damplifier Pro sound deadener. Be sure to bring cash or check and place your bid. There's 4 packs available so there's plenty of chances to win!

Designed for car audio competitors and extreme hot-rod builders, Damplifier Pro™ exemplifies SSA's motto - “overbuilt to over perform”. Nothing reduces structure borne noise under extreme conditions like Damplifier Pro™.

Damplifier Pro™ is 2mm thick with a 4 mil thick aluminum heat sheild boasting a heat tolerance over 500 degrees. Damplifier Pro™ is without exception the strongest, thickest, most amazing vibration insulation product on the market today.

If you make it to the show & auction be sure to stop by my project truck and give the doors a tap. The floor is lined in Damplifier Pro and Heatwave and the roof is coated in Spectrum Sludge and OverKill.

Please take a few minutes and check out all the great products on the Second Skin Audio website. The SSA products are the best I've dealt with in the over 15 years I've been doing installs. HIGHLY recommended!

i am sponsored by second skin and wasnt sure what to expect with it, but i would have to agree with mystic that its the best stuff to work with i did a hole car with dynamat and then did my car with second skin products and i love the stuff, i would recommend it to anyone.
