Anyone ever used a rockford fosgate t1500bd amp?

I might buy a brand new one and want to know how power hungry the amp is. Do you think it'll clip out alot on my electrical system? I have a stock 85a alternator, extra 4 awg wire from alt to battery and battery neg to ground, yellow top battery in front, kenitk hc800 battery in trunk and all 0 awg wiring. I need to decide on buying one. Any answer would be appreciated.

I ran a t1001bd at one point in time. Benched at around 1500. It was a pretty efficient amp, I would think around 85%. I had a shitty run of 4ga power, no extra batteries. If you were to say that 100% dimming constitutes a total loss of power, I would say I had about 25-50% dimming. Pretty good numbers imo.

Know a guy who runs the 4K model. They're rock solid and I've heard nothing but good things about the other models of that line.

Power consumption will depend greatly on your listening preferences. The only thing with these is from what I hear they like to go into protect if you try to drop below rated minimum impedence....then again if you have limited electrical you probably don't want to try to run anything below 1 ohm.

i got a power t1001. for daily use its rock solid. you won't be dissapointed. what year is the amp? the first t series or the newer model line? when the old first t series came out they had a different style romote knob (dual) and were more stout built. the newer lines don't from what i've heard. the newer power amps are also hybrid and build quality went down on them.

or i was fed a line of bs.

i ran 2 kicker 800.2's and a fosgate 800.4 on a 95a/no big 3 and mine was fine minus dimming. As an example.
