Well, I could have gotten the needle for him and saved a tenner.

Or maybe you could have come by and set him on fire.
travel cost would be more then desired to spend to euthanize an animal. :p

Just quit paying for a few months then call them and ask them to 'settle' they will take about 50% of what you owe. I know this because I was too at one point a deadbeat.
As for the dog I would have probably put it to sleep as hard as it would be no animal is going to financially ruin me. The wife on the other hand would probably drop 20k if she had to. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
$5k might be a good investment if it's a purebred female that pumps out a litter of valuable pups every couple years.

i consolidated, i think thats the best thing ive done with my credit so far it has really saved me not sure if thats the same thing as debt management. Only problem ive had with my consolidation company was when they switched their system over and my payments were late once and my creditors were threatening to drop me from consolidating
what company did you go with? Is it national or a local thing?

just consolidate.. not through one of those pos ones on tv.. what all cards from where? they want your business.. if it comes down to it see if you can take out a loan on a lower interest rate and payment to pay them off to consolidate all your bills to one through your bank..

well if you dont pay for 6 onths and save up 2500.00 you can call on the 6th montha dn say youve been unemployed and would like to settle your debt. tell them you have 2,000.00 and start the bidding from there. after thats done you close the account and wait around 4 months. you then contact the credit people and say that what the c company reported the wrong thing. they credit people will send a letter to the credit carde company asking what is correct. when they dont reply the credit company will take it off your record. the reason this works is that because a credit card is a bizness. it doesnt make them money to pay a person to write back the credit people ABOUT SOMEONE WHO ISNT EVEN THEIR CUSTOMER ANYMORE. what would they get out of messing up your credit if youve already settled with them? get it? ive heard a lot of people doing this...only down fall is it will take like a year in full

what wrong thing? that you paid late?

why cant you just pay it back with payments?

or have you had this balance for a long time (over 2 years)

5000/60 months = roughly $83 before intrest, so send in say $200/month

Im saying, it was your choice to spend the money, pay it back

consolidating for 5k? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

i worked my way out of 30k without consolidation, and at the time, that was about all i made a year.

Personaly, I would call the CC companies and try to work something out yourself, and pay the highest interest rate ones first.

Some will even give you a grace period to catch up or lower the payments or extend the terms.
So many people don't realize they have this option. This should be the first step before paying someone to do something similar.

I wouldnt suggest 6 months but maybe a month or so. When they calling for there money say "Lets Make a Deal" They would rather have something than nothing. ALL OF THEM will work with you.

Why pay some shady company for doing something you can do on your own.
