anyone ever tried or heard these?

ya...i was just seeing if anyone had previous experience with them b/c i haven't seen them around at all.

what exactly do you mean by a good install? dont have much experience with comps.

they are bette than normal but there's better out there. I've spend a little time with them on our soundboard and they good for Pioneer. They need next to nothing on power and struggled at higher volumes to keep everything balanced and focused. It was being fed about 125rms. For that price comparable sets were CDT EFs, some of the Kenwood Excelon comps, Polk Db, JL XR.

i had the kenwood excellon xxv-04s components, which were their flagship speakers last year, and they were VERY airy and crisp, but lacked the 'raw' sound most people with heavy sub-stages want.

They'd better accompany a more SQ-oriented substage, but i wouldn't recommend them for trying to be 'loud'

best tweeters i've ever heard, tho, even at loud volumes they never became 'harsh' they were unreal

i head those premier comps and they sounded nice to me but seemed to lack detail, i would not consider them very hi end. IMO they look nicer then they sound.
