anyone ever thought about using this to mount tweeters?

I think it's a good idea, but do they make one for the right side of your vehicle? If they do I'm all for it. That actually is a very good idea. I'm going to look into it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

it kinda looks like its pointed toward the roof. if its pointed at you yeah its a good idea. you would have to get one for the passenger one though. look at the same one but for a euro. car. i would get smaller ones though cus it would look kinda funny with a 1 inch tweeter in it.

Thats the problem....I cant find one for the passenger side. I just thought of this about 10 minutes ago....but I dont think they make the pods for passenger sides.....Dang it

edit* At least not for a 92 ford mustang

if the bracket is done right, it points DIRECTLY at you. Those dials for race cars are angled straight to the driver's eyesight.

it would if you get swivel brackets. I think it's the same thing...just that people prefer to make it out of fiberglass/resin

i kinda see it now, at first it looks like it points up more than at you, but try to find littler ones so it wont look so funny. but if you get it right im sure it will sound great

edit: im used to trucks with more 90 degree windshields //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif :D

you can find those for the passenger side too...I see 'em all the time, the only problem I would see with those is the fact that most gauges are extremely larger than a regular tweeter so it might look kinda funny, unless you get a smaller sized guage pod...

I could always use the flush mount trim ring thing that comes with some tweeters. That would make it look a little bigger if I couldnt find a smaller pod.
