I have there SPL Audio GRLA2000/1D for my sa-8v.1 and it powers it great and the settings r good to not sure about the 4 chan. but the mono is great so far i've had it about 3mo. now....

Have you tried testing it to see the power you're actually getting?

no i have no way off doing that but prob. at least 500 it states 900@2ohm it has 40amp fuse so i figure 5-700 at best!! my sa8 slams good though..

clarion makes a decent low budget amp, and they do rated power. I have owned one of their monos in the past.
either of these:

Clarion XR2410 400W, XR Series 4-Channel Amplifier

Clarion XR2420 480W Max, 4-Channel XR Series Amplifier

JBL makes good amps

JBL GT5-A604 (GT5A604) 640W Max 4-Channel GT Car Amplifier

Get this and don't look back! You'll love it. Underrated sq for a crazy cheap price. I loved my aura amp.

I just meant that the Aura amp I posted will put out just as much as the Clarion you bought, and it has better crossovers. Plus it's half off right now so it's cheaper.
