your speaker is frozen. you must warm it up or else the cone/spider freezes stiff and it basically just plays distorted notes cause it can't move freely.

its in the mid-teens here right now and mine are working perfectly. They sound the same as they did in the middle of the summer.

i pulled them out and checked with a DMM and they're not blown, so i don't know what the issue is.

what happened is you probably got some moisture in there and since its being cold froze the moisture, just let your speakers warms up at a very low volume for a while
